SPAN conducted an outreach program in the Southern Region in collaboration with Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn. Bhd. (SAINS), attended by IWK, consulting engineers, SPAN IPA permit holders, IEM, REHDA, and the Negeri Sembilan Plumbers Association (PTPNS).
The program, officiated by Ts. Padhil bin Hj. Abdul Hadi, Director of SPAN Southern Region, aimed to provide participants with information about legislative amendments to the Water Services Industry Act (Act 655) and its subsidiary legislation. It also sought to strengthen technical understanding and enhance working relationships within the water and sewerage services sector.
The event included an open dialogue session with a main panel composed of SPAN, SAINS, and IWK to answer participants' questions.
Attendees came from various backgrounds, including the construction industry, consulting engineering, water operations, and sewerage operations.
