SYNOPSIS

The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) portal, developed as part of our chemicals management programme, provides valuable information on hazard communication and safe handling of our products.
The PETRONAS Melaka Refinery Complex located in the state of Melaka in Malaysia houses two refining trains. The first train, known as PSR-1, is owned and operated by PETRONAS Penapisan (Melaka) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS. Completed in 1994, the train has a capacity to process 100,000 barrels per day of sweet crude and condensates.
The second train, PSR-2, is owned by Malaysian Refining Company Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS. Operated by PETRONAS Penapisan (Melaka) Sdn Bhd, the train commenced operations in August1999 and has a rated capacity of 170,000 barrels per day of sweet and sour crudes.

- Experience ourselves of the oil refinery.
So, if you wish to upgrade your knowledge, come and join the technical visit. We encourage you to attend this technical visit and to have continuous learning among the engineers.

Guidelines
- A shuttle bus will be provided by IEM NS. Please assemble at IEMNS office by 08.30am and will depart at 8.45am sharp.
- Since number of visitors are limited to maximum 40 persons, only "first- come- first- served" basis will be entertained.
- Please provide your details including your *I/C NO when registered as required by the authorities.
- Please wear suitable attire (pants/shoes/sunglasses/cap) for the visit. Ladies are encourage to wear slacks/pants instead of dress
- Please stay with the designated guide at all times and not to wonder away from the group.
